Whether you are exploring downtown, strolling around scenic gardens and farms, or being entertained by the comedy club, you can tell Georgetown is the place to be. Once the warm summer months begin to emerge, so do roaches. Roaches thrive in warm, moist environments, and the adult cockroaches begin to breed when these conditions occur. They lay hundreds of eggs, and their young grow the fastest and best in the warm weather. This is also when you’ll begin to see them in your home. Although they love the warm weather, they dry out in the sun. For this reason, you’re likely to find them hiding in shady areas during the day and out and about once the sun goes down. In order to prevent these pests from entering your home, make sure all food and water is stored tight, keep lids on your trash cans, and make sure there isn’t any standing water or leaks that might be in or around your home. If you notice any signs of cockroaches, give Fox Pest Control a call.
When Ronnie, our branch manager, thinks of Georgetown, he immediately thinks of the Kentucky Horse Park. It’s the largest state-owned tourist attraction in Kentucky. The park showcases horses, provides carriage rides, riding lessons, and teaches visitors all about the history of the horse. Our service manager has even entered competitions there, and she goes there routinely to race her horses. In the winter, the park is converted into a large light show called Southern Lights. Ronnie has been there and recommends it to anyone he meets who wants to enjoy a night out looking at Christmas lights with family.
Like Ronnie, Fox is connected to Georgetown. We are members of the Georgetown/Scott County Chamber of Commerce and sponsor local organizations such as Scott County Youth Football.
